I have to share our devotion for the day – so beautiful!
Hold My Hand, and walk joyously with Me through this day. Together we will savor the pleasures and endure the difficulties it brings. Be on the lookout for everything I have prepared for you: stunning scenery, bracing winds of adventure, cozy nooks for resting when you are weary, and much more. I am your Guide, as well as your constant Companion. I know every step of the journey ahead of you, all the way to heaven. You don’t have to choose between staying close to Me and staying on course. Since I AM THE WAY, staying close to me is staying on course. As you focus your thoughts on Me, I will guide you carefully along today’s journey. Don’t worry what is around the next bend. Just concentrate of enjoying MY presence and staying in step with Me. John 14:6 Colossians 4:12
We read this with everyone this morning – you see today we are renting a car for the first time and heading to out into the country about an hour from Florence. I think we will have lots of cozy nooks and I know we are going to enjoy the scenery as we drive! God is so good! I know He will go before us and continue to guide each step we take!
We are sitting in the rental car – with a cool breeze – waiting for Clark to return from the train station (which is a few blocks away) to see about getting us to Paris…we are not quite sure how we are going to get there or when…Right now our plan is to be in the country for two days, Cinque Terre for a few days, head over to Venice and try to be in Paris by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. We will keep you updated but will probably not have internet until Venice! Blakely – my internet guru – hacked into an unlocked internet while we were in the car – that only lasted a few minutes! Our journey continues!
